Los Angeles Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks Prediction
I am going to be targeting Los Angeles Clippers guard Norman Powell in Game 3 in Dallas. Norm has had a rough first couple of games only shooting 25 percent in the series thus far, but I am expecting him to bounce back in Game 3.
At practice Norm talked about how the Mavs aren’t rotating off him and have been staying home which has led to less looks overall in Games 1 and 2. He said the looks he’s gotten so far are shots he normally takes and makes and that he’s been encouraged to keep taking them. “I’m gonna be ready for my moment, my time when my name’s called and continue to take the shots that come.”
He hinted at getting downhill more, being aggressive and attacking the paint and that’s what I’m expecting more of in Game 3.
Norm has played 26 and 30 minutes in the first two games and when he sees 24+ minutes with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden in, he’s had 10+ points in 38 of 40 games (15+ in 23 of 40). He has shot better on the Road this season than at home with a 50 percent for his field goal percentage and 48 percent for his three-point percentage . Look for Norm to bounce back and clear his lines in Game 3.
