I’ve got a couple plays on my mind for Game 6 in Philly on Thursday night. Let’s start with the side… the Knicks are bringing in nearly 60% of the bets and nearly 55% of the handle on the moneyline right now (on VSIN). I am surprised to see the public this invested in the Knicks on the road in this spot.
We can’t forget how these teams ended the regular season. The 76ers were the hottest team in the NBA for the last couple of weeks once Embiid returned to the lineup, and the Knicks struggled mightily at the end of the year. Just because they got out to a 3-1 lead doesn’t mean they are a lock to win this series, especially as public underdogs tonight. Back the 76ers on the moneyline tonight; they keep their season alive for another day.
This total was sitting below 200 this morning. It’s now up to 201.5 with more than 75% of the bets on the over. Don’t fall for this line movement here; of course the total is going to move up when it opens this low and this many bets are being placed on the over.
