4 minPistons vs. Cavaliers Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, Latest Odds
The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to go 2-0 tonight when they host the Detroit Pistons, who are reeling from a late collapse against the Pacers in their opening night game.
The Pistons brought a major lead into the fourth quarter on Wednesday night, before completely choking the game away. They were up eight on a talented Pacers team at home before getting outscored 33-19 in the fourth. They went on to lose the game by six, and will be eager to put that blown game behind them.
On the other side, the Cavaliers arrive after a blowout win over the shorthanded Raptors earlier this week. They won by 30 points when all was said and done, and had six players scoring in double figures, led by Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley. Will they be able to replicate that against the Pistons tonight? Let's take a look at the latest Pistons vs. Cavs odds.

Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction
The Pistons may not have the same talent as some of the top NBA squads, but they are young and hungry, and prove that with each time out. Cade Cunningham dropped 28 in the loss, backed up by double figures from Jaden Ivey, Malik Beasley, Tobias Harris, and others. They have enough pieces to make a run at better teams, and when shots are falling, they can maintain a lead like they did for three quarters against the Pacers.
They may have some trouble on the glass against Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, but Jalen Duren has shown to hold his own in big matchups. He is a feisty rebounder who came up with 13 on Wednesday, including many of the 12 total offensive boards. The Pistons will need to grab as many opportunities as they can to keep this game close against a well-rounded Cleveland unit.
While the Cavs should control this game and win it, they are unlikely to have as strong of a shooting night tonight. They shot nearly 60% from the floor in the 136-point effort, and 14/30 from three. The Raptors didn't put up much of a fight, but Detroit should bring more intensity tonight. With 47% of the bets on Pistons +11 and 66% of the total handle, some bettors are backing Detroit with bigger money to avenge their last loss and give Cleveland the business in the second game of the season.
