5 minTCU vs. Cincinnati Prediction: Can Bearcats Shut Down Emanuel Miller, Horned Frogs in Big 12 Battle?
For the first time this season, the TCU Horned Frogs will be playing a game as a ranked team. Unfortunately for the Horned Frogs faithful, they are an underdog in their first game as a ranked team tonight. Will TCU stay hot, winning their third conference game in a row, or will this scrappy Cincinnati team get a much-needed win at home?

TCU vs. Cincinnati Prediction
Cincinnati is coming off two straight losses to ranked teams by a combined FOUR points. They should have beaten Texas on the road last week, but they couldn’t close out the Longhorns. They went on to lose to Baylor by one possession on the road this past weekend, a game they should have won. Will the Bearcats show some heart at home after two brutal losses?
I’m willing to bet that Coach Miller gets the most out of his guys on Tuesday night. This Cincy team is so close to showing everyone just how good they really are, but they’ve struggled to seal the deal in these big games. After a few days off, the Bearcats have a great opportunity to steal a Big 12 win from the surging Horned Frogs.
This is a perfect sell-high spot for TCU. Don’t get me wrong, I like this TCU team, just not in this spot. This team lacks size, and Cincinnati is going to take advantage of that tonight. Even if Bandaogo is out again for Cincy, this team has plenty of size and depth. They have the speed in their backcourt to keep up with TCU’s shifty guards, too.
Last season, unranked home favorites were a cash cow against ranked road teams. This system hasn’t gotten off to as great of a start as we’ve all hoped, but that doesn’t mean we stop now. Back the Bearcats on the spread against the newly-ranked Horned Frogs tonight. Cincinnati is starving for a Q1 win; tonight, they get it.
