In today's SEC Tournament matchup, Tennessee takes on Mississippi State. I see this being a very fast paced game in which a lot of points should be scored. I will be taking the over in points for this game and I will explain why down below.

Mississippi State vs. Tennessee Prediction
This is going to be a pretty simple writeup for me today. Both Tennessee and Mississippi State have good trends for the overs on the year. Tennessee likes to play at a high tempo and get as many good looks as they can for Dalton Knecht. They like to run in transition and get a lot of turnovers that lead to fast break points. Mississippi State as well is good at forcing turnovers and like to play that same sort of style.
Both teams are top 50 in steals per game, as well as both teams are top 50 in offensive rebounds per game as well which usually leads to easy second chance buckets. Both teams are pretty solid defensively but especially good at defending the three ball. Both teams identity is much more focused on inside shots and layups not three pointers so that defense shouldn't hinder this play as much.
Tennessee has gone over this number in eight out of last 11 games, and Mississippi State has over this number in seven out of their last 11 games. The last time these two teams played there was 149 points scored, there were tons of points scored in the paint off of turnovers. I expect this game to go over with lots of easy fast break and interior points.
