Jaelen House, Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Donovan Dent are the best trio of guards on the tournament, and they have some big bodies like JT Toppin and Nelly Junior Joseph holding down the paint. They’ll be able to limit PJ Hall and ian Schieffelin on the interior.
Speaking of JT Toppin, he is coming off one of the best seasons from any freshman in the country. House and Mashburn get all the love because of their last names, but JT Toppin and Donovan Dent are the lifeblood of this team. They only go as far as their two young stars…

Right now, New Mexico is playing some of their best basketball we’ve ever seen them play. Nobody is stopping Donovan Dent, the most underrated point guard in college basketball.
Joe Girard and Chase Hunter are going to have one heck of a time defending this New Mexico backcourt. These Clemson guards have struggled to defend all season, and they’ll have one of their toughest assignments of the season this afternoon. Back the Lobos to carry their momentum from the MW tournament into the first round. They win today.
