There are two teams tonight that I don’t see losing on Wednesday night. With both favorites getting steamed on the spread, I’m looking to parlay these two teams together for a two-piece parlay that pays out close to even-money. Let’s dive into the plays…
Basketball Parlay Today
UNLV vs. Seton Hall Prediction
It’s going to be nearly impossible for the Lobos to keep up with Seton Hall if Luis Rodriguez isn’t suiting up once again for UNLV. The Pirates have too much firepower in their backcourt with Kadary Richmond, Dre Davis and Al-Amir Dawes. UNLV plays very well out of the gate, so I wouldn’t hate a straight bet on Seton Hall moneyline if you can get them live within the first ten minutes. UNLV might be able to hang early (considering they are one of the best first-half teams in the country), but Dedan Thomas will only be able to do so much against this deep Seton Hall backcourt.
If you’re worried about UNLV winning on the inside, the Boone brothers like to hang out on the perimeter. Rob Whaley is a tough matchup for anyone in the paint, but Jaden Bediako can’t hold his own down-low. He will be able to at-least limit Whaley in the paint. The Rebels are going to have to rely heavily on Dedan Thomas coming off screens. Seton Hall has three physical and quick guards that can take turns double-teaming Thomas if needed.
Seton Hall is also a much better offensive rebounding and free-throw shooting team than the Rebels. Back Seton Hall to get another win on their home floor, continuing to prove to the public and committee that they were deserving of an NCAA Tournament bid.
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Philadelphia 76ers Prediction
The Clippers are coming off back-to-back losses at home against the Pacers and 76ers. Tonight, they get a chance at some revenge in Philadelphia against Tyrese Maxey and the 76ers. James Harden gets a chance to beat his former team that got the better of Los Angeles only a couple of days ago…
I was a little shocked to see the Clippers laying this many points after just losing to the 76ers on their home floor. Oddsmakers are expecting a bounce-back performance from Harden and the Clippers after two straight losses. James Harden shot 0-6 from three against his former team on Sunday. I’m willing to bet he bounces back in a big way in an arena he is very familiar with.
If the Clippers were going to drop a third-straight game on Wednesday, they probably wouldn’t be laying 6.5 points on the spread. With no projected injuries, it seems like the Clippers are at full-strength looking to avenge a previous loss. Back them on the moneyline in this two-piece parlay; I’ll meet you at the cash counter.
