The Tigers next took on the No. 3 seed Baylor Bears where they beat them by eight, 72-64. The Clemson Tigers have been underdogs in both of their games, but can they keep that streak rolling tonight?
Arizona is the No. 2 seed in the West region beating Long Beach State by 20 in their first game of the tournament and then beating Dayton by 10. The Wildcats have looked solid in these first two games, but will have a tough matchup tonight with Clemson. Pac-12 Player of the Year in Caleb Love has been playing lights out in this tournament averaging 18.5 PPG. Love has been a great addition to this Wildcats team and has helped Arizona make a big jump from last year. Is this the year they make a deep run?
In tonight's matchup, I like Arizona with the points. I think that this Arizona team is far better than Clemson, especially with the guard play. Love is easily the best guard in this matchup, and I think that if he has a solid game, Arizona should win and cover with ease. Arizona rebounds the ball far better than Clemson bringing in 28.9 RPG which is third best in the nation. This will be a big factor as Arizona will limit possessions for Clemson and get more second chance points. I full expect Arizona to win this game, but don't be surprised if they win by 12+ point tonight!
