They are not a team that overwhelms you with shot making. Instead, they manufacture points through offensive rebounds, free throws, and transition opportunities off turnovers.
In conference play, that style travels because effort rarely dips. Liutauras Lelevicius and Tanner Toolson combined for 26 points and seven rebounds in the win over Kansas State and will again be key in matching Texas Tech’s physicality.
Texas Tech has responded impressively since losing JT Toppin for the season. The Red Raiders have won three straight, including a road win at No. 4 Iowa State, and have posted elite offensive numbers during that stretch.
According to recent efficiency metrics, they have operated as the most efficient offense in the country over that span. Donovan Atwell has been lights out from three, and the two man game involving Luke Bamgboye and Josiah Moseley has created high percentage looks inside.
