UFC 283 Parlay: Building Around Gilbert Burns, Jessica Andrade, Jailton Almeida

While it's an absolute gift that the UFC has made its pay-per-view readily situated inside of the turbulent center of Brazil to accommodate local competition, it is also a godsend for staples of the sport like Jessica Andrade, Gregory Rodrigues, and of course, Gilbert Burns to reconnect with their people after making it big inside of the states.

UFC 283 Parlay Breakdown

Leg 1: Gilbert Burns vs. Neil Magny Prediction

Making his triumphant return to the motherland, “Durinho” looks to ride the momentum of his fight of the year with Khamzat Chimaev, taking on perennial gatekeeping legend Neil Magny.

The tollbooth operator of the division in Magny is coming in with a one-fight win streak, ending the hype train of Daniel Rodriguez fairly recently. While definitely being the only one in the win column out of the pair, the fact of the matter is Burns somehow managed to have a better performance in a loss than Magny did while clinching his way to victory. Magny and his hypnotic style flourish wildly when coming across pure strikers. In terms of somebody that can out-grapple him, like the Shavkat Rakhmonov and Dos Anos of the world, he quits and quits hard.

Give me the BJJ standout in Burns to get the inevitable double leg and wrestle ride Neil Magny en route to a dominant decision.

Leg 2: Jessica Andrade vs. Lauren Murphy Prediction

I wish there were more MMA views I could give Lauren Murphy going into this contest, but sadly there is none. Besides being the taller flyweight, her recent stretch of winning bouts has been against either aging veterans or lower-level opponents.

Every time I think Jessica is going to somehow fall off, she simply gets on another winning streak against the level of competition Murphy encapsulates to a T. Look for Andrade to go full clobbering mode on the tough Lucky Lauren, bonking her into unconsciousness sometime before the 2.5 round mark takes effect.

Leg 3 Jailton Almeida vs. Shamil Abdurakhimov Prediction

This is the absolute lock. Jailton should handle business sometime in the first round at about a 96% clip.

It has become painstakingly obvious that the UFC is sending Abdurakhimov to finish out his contract against the surging Brazillian standout Almeida in front of everyone in his hometown. Possessing absolutely no advantage in any tangible department apart from being a true heavyweight, you better believe in the Contender Series Crippler Jailton Almeida to win this bout.

Well, there you have it, three legs that simply can't miss barring some tumultuous civil unrest in Brazil. While juicy, the ROI is still sweet and the money will be plentiful given the fairly volatile free nature of it all.
