Well, we are finally just days away from our first true Saturday with a loaded college football slate, and I am ecstatic about it. You must be wary of certain spots in the first weeks of betting on football, especially college, as so much can change from year to year. With that said, there are quite a few spots on Saturday I am already loving, so I am going to dive into one of my favorite plays for the early slate of games now.

Purdue vs. Fresno State Prediction
Purdue has proven in recent years they are indeed on the rise as a football school, and with the way this team is looking this season, I think week one can be a strong way to start the season for them. Ryan Walters is looking to run an air-raid offense this year. With four returning starters on the offensive line, plenty of talent outside the hashes, and a strong signal caller in Texas transfer Hudson Card, I think they are going to hit the ground running Saturday.
Fresno State had a phenomenal run to end the season after the poor 1-4 start, but they lost starting quarterback Jake Haener, and his top weapons are also gone, meaning we have a whole new group of skilled guys. I think this comes down to experience and coaching here, and although I do think Fresno State may keep things interesting, this is a great opportunity for Purdue.
