UTSA has had a very up and down season, but it appears they may have figured things out as they have won 2 games in a row against Temple and UAB where they put up 40+ points in each. Can they get it done on the road against FAU tonight? Let's break it down.

Florida Atlantic vs. UTSA Prediction
UTSA's offense has been cooking the past few games with Frank Harris back in the lineup as they scored 49 points against Temple with 495 total yards and 41 against UAB with 364 yards of offense.
Frank Harris has been one of the better and more consistent Group of 5 quarterbacks over the past few seasons and he is the straw that stirs the drink for this UTSA offense. While Frank Harris and this UTSA offense have been humming over the past few weeks, it is their defense that has been coming up clutch with the turnovers.
UTSA has forced five turnovers over their past two games and now they get to face a Florida Atlantic offense that is extremely turnover prone as they are averaging 1.8 turnovers per game.
Florida Atlantic has turned the ball over at least once in every game this season and I fully expect the Roadrunners to force a few turnovers in today's game as well. The FAU passing offense has also been anemic this season as they are ranked 124th in yards per passing attempt as it has been a bit of a revolving door at the QB position for the Owls between Daniel Richardson and Casey Thompson.
UTSA is finally starting to get healthy and find their rhythm as they are proving to be real AAC contenders this season. 2 of their losses this season came on the road at Houston by a field goal and on the road at Tennessee, and then their only other loss came against Army without Frank Harris.
Overall, UTSA has much more top-end talent as they will have the best player in this game, and I do expect FAU to regress back to their mean after a blowout win on the road against South Florida last week. FAU has also struggled a bit at home as they lost to Ohio Straight up as 3.5-point favorites and nearly blew a game against Tulsa, who we just saw get blown out by Rice earlier in the week. FAU's 3 wins have come against FCS Monmouth, Tulsa, and South Florida who have a combined record of 9-11. FAU has not proven they can compete with teams that have high-powered offenses, much like UTSA has, and I do expect UTSA to force multiple turnovers. With that being said, I am rolling with UTSA ML at -132 for 1.5U as one of my Most Confident College Football Plays of the Day for tonight's action.
