5 minAnother action packed Saturday is upon us with a loaded slate on the Gridiron. For our Saturday night action this week, we head to the SEC for class between Hugh Freeze with his Auburn Tigers and Lane Kiffin with his visiting Ole Miss Rebels.

Ole Miss vs. Auburn Prediction
After dropping the Alabama game, the LSU game turned into a pivotal game for the program and Lane Kiffin era at Ole Miss. Rebound with a Magnolia Bowl victory and ranked win avenging last years loss, the program takes a step forward. On the flip side, you lose back-to-back SEC West games and you go right back to the team that blows their chance despite the early season success every year.
It was a huge win for the Rebels but it was step one and they now have to keep proving things down the stretch. Luckily for them, they are not looking ahead to Texas A&M or any other SEC opponent right now because Auburn has always given them fits.
Auburn won four consecutive meetings before Ole Miss was able to win a 48-34 clash at home last season to snap the streak. Now the Rebels have to go to Jordan-Hare Stadium deep in enemy territory to keep this 5-1 season rolling in the right direction.
If the Rebels make mistakes and let Auburn hang around too long, SEC talent is SEC talent and the coaching of Freeze is a worthy adversary to Kiffin. With that said, do what you are supposed to do and Ole Miss wins comfortably.
Auburn still is without a true starting quarterback and the offense has been struggling immensely. They gave Georgia trouble but were embarrassed by LSU and have now lost three straight. With a big game for Ole Miss as a program, the offense is going to run away with this one late and the defense is much improved across the board.
