The Oklahoma Sooners escaped UCF, 31-29, to earn another Big 12 win. That win gave Oklahoma its seventh straight victory, keeping them undefeated heading into Week 9 against Kansas.
Oklahoma has had some challenging games throughout the season. But the Sooners have found a way.
On the road, against Kansas, can Oklahoma earn another win as they try and win the Big 12 and clinch a College Football Playoff berth?

The Oklahoma Sooners are currently ranked No. 6 in the new AP Poll. They're 7-0 after wins against Texas and UCF. Those two games, however, could've gone either way. The Sooners escaped both of those games by a combined six points.
Still, Oklahoma has earned nearly 497 yards per game, including over 325 from the passing game. Dillon Gabriel has thrown for 19 touchdowns and just three interceptions while accumulating 2,131 yards in the air for the Sooners.
Now that he's healthy this season, Gabriel is a Heisman candidate heading into Week 9 of the college football season.
The Sooners will face a Kansas defense that has allowed nearly 400 yards per game this season. The run defense has given up 161.1 yards, while the tackling has been unpredictable this year.
Kansas is better in the passing game defensively but has also allowed 235 yards per game in the air.
On the other hand, Kansas just last lost to Oklahoma State, 39-32. They were ranked in the top 25 before that loss.
Backup quarterback Jason Bean got the start and threw for 410 yards and five touchdowns. But he also threw two interceptions. The defense also didn't help his case.
Bean has been a terrific backup to Jalon Daniels, who has a back injury. He's thrown nine touchdowns and two interceptions in four games played. This was the first game where he added more than 276 yards passing.
At this time, Daniels is questionable to return. He's been questionable over the last few weeks, so he's likely getting close.
However, facing Oklahoma's defense isn't easy. The Sooners have allowed 240.4 yards in the air but under 120 yards on the ground. Oklahoma's run defense sets them apart, especially because Kansas has earned 211.7 yards on the ground per game.
If Kansas struggles to earn massive gains on the ground, it will struggle to keep up with Oklahoma.
I'll back the Sooners at -10.
