5 minNotre Dame vs. Clemson Prediction, Pick, Odds: Will Clemson Fall Below .500 on Saturday?
The Clemson Tigers are in danger of falling below .500 on Saturday. Clemson is 4-4 after another devastating loss to North Carolina State. They've now lost three of their last five games and don't look like a dynasty any longer. Now they'll take on a Notre Dame Fighting Irish team that just knocked off Pittsburgh by the score of 58-7. Notre Dame has scored more than 100 points in their last two games. Will the Fighting Irish continue to have success offensively against a solid Clemson defense?
Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Saturday's matchup between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Clemson Tigers.

Notre Dame vs. Clemson Prediction
Although the Clemson Tigers have added 416.6 points per game, they've only scored 230 points this season. That's under 29 points per game for Clemson. While 29 points might sound good, consider Notre Dame, averaging 38.3 points per game this season. Clemson is not performing at a high level right now. Cade Klubnik has thrown for 13 touchdowns but also has five interceptions. He's made some poor decisions late in games previously and might not even have Will Shipley alongside him this weekend. Shipley went down with a scary injury last weekend. He's currently dealing with a concussion and could miss this game. Shipley has been most of Clemson's offense, with 515 yards and three touchdowns on the year. They'll take on a Notre Dame defense that has held teams to 279.2 yards per game. The run defense is dominant, and the secondary is just as good for the Fighting Irish. The pass rush has also earned some respect throughout the season. Clemson's offense hasn't performed. But if Shipley isn't around, it will get ugly against Notre Dame's defense. Meanwhile, the Fighting Irish have the better quarterback statistically. They've got 2,126 yards from Sam Hartman, with 18 touchdowns and five interceptions on the year. However, he hasn't even been the best player at Notre Dame. Audric Estime has added 901 yards on the ground with 12 touchdowns. He's one of the best running backs in the league. With Clemson playing solid run defense, Hartman will likely have to throw a bit more in this game. The Tigers have a comparable defense to Notre Dame's. However, Hartman and the Notre Dame offense have much more going for them on that end of the ball. Clemson won't win this game in the trenches. Give me Notre Dame on the road -3.
