The Sooners would also have to win every game left on their schedule. This week's game against Oklahoma State won't be easy. At the beginning of the season. Oklahoma State was considered one of the worst teams in the Big 12. Heading into Week 10, the Cowboys earned 77 votes and would be the 26th team in the AP Top 25 this week. They're a real threat to Oklahoma. In a significant rivalry matchup, can the Cowboys add to their four-game winning streak on Saturday?

The Oklahoma Sooners are coming off a massive 38-33 upset loss to Kansas. With that loss, Oklahoma fell four spots in the AP Poll to 10th overall. They're now below the Texas Longhorns, who they already beat earlier in the season. To get back into the College Football Playoff race and in the Big 12 Championship conversation, they'll need to earn a massive win against Oklahoma State on the road. That's never easy in a road environment in the Big 12. Still, the Sooners have earned 489.8 yards per game, including 308.9 yards in the air and another 180.9 yards on the ground. They're led by Dillon Gabriel, who has added 19 passing touchdowns and four interceptions, with over 2,300 yards passing. Gabriel was in the Heisman conversation until the loss to Kansas. Gabriel will face an Oklahoma State defense that has allowed nearly 410 yards per game this season. The pass defense hasn't been terrible. However, the run defense has allowed over 170 yards per game. Oklahoma will want to commit to the run early with Tawee Walker. He's earned over five yards a carry on 76 carries this season. Gabriel is also someone who can earn massive yardage down the field with his legs. On the other hand, Oklahoma State's offense continues to rise throughout the season. They've scored at least 29 points in each of their last four games and have added at least 45 points in each of their previous two games. The Cowboys have earned wins over Kansas State, Kansas, West Virginia, and Cincinnati during their four-game winning streak. The offense is led by Alan Bowman at quarterback, who has thrown for eight touchdowns and five interceptions. However, most of the production is coming out of Ollie Gordon II. He's a sophomore who has already rushed for over 1,000 yards with ten touchdowns. Gordon is one of the nation's best running backs, continues to do it with an offensive line that has only been average. While Oklahoma has allowed 132.6 yards per game on the ground, the Sooners have ultimately played very well against the run this season. This will be an exciting matchup between Gordon and Oklahoma's run defense. Gordon has earned at least 21 carries in the last four games. In his previous two, he's rushed for at least 271 yards each and has added six touchdowns in those two games. I don't think that type of production will happen against Oklahoma. Once the Sooners stop the run and force the Cowboys to throw the football, they can push away from the Cowboys and earn the win. Take Oklahoma -6 on the road.
