The second game I want to dive into takes us to Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. The Clemson Tigers host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in an early clash between two teams that have given us one of the best rivalries in college football over the last few years.

Notre Dame vs. Clemson Prediction
Notre Dame could legitimately be undefeated at this point in the season, and while I know "shoulda coulda woulda" means nothing, it does mean that this team is a tad better than some may believe. Louisville played their best game of the season and deserved that home win over the Fighting Irish; Ohio State on the other hand got lucky with the late game personnel debacle. The Irish have rebounded with back-to-back wins, and just dismantled Pitt 58-7, so they are riding high coming into this one.
This is not your normal Dabo Swinney squad, and there are a plethora of examples backing that claim. Clemson has not lost four games in a season in twelve years, and right now they are at risk of losing five or six, maybe even seven if the offense doesn't figure things out. They have not earned 20 points offensively in a game since September, and without running back Will Shipley, I just do not think this team can do a lot to break this stout Notre Dame defense.
I think this game has the potential to be close thanks to Clemson's solid defense. It is a home rivalry game and Dabo really needs this one, but I just don't see Notre Dame losing another game that they should win this season, and for that reason, I am on the Irish.
