This could be a real shootout, with both teams struggling with their defense this season. The Las Vegas Raiders have been so much fun this year but the real concern is how often they give their opponents opportunities. The Falcons could be the team to take advantage of that. Although their big issue is that their defense is even worse and have been shipping points for fun recently.
The Falcons are 4-6 ATS this year, with the Raiders performing better at 7-3 and I'm siding with the Raiders to cover here. They're 3-point underdogs for a reason, they've been very good at times this year. The Raiders always feel like they could take a big scalp and Derek Carr is perhaps in with a shout to be the league's MVP. He's quietly had an immense season and is putting an end to any doubts over his ability. He should have field day this weekend against a Falcons team who have the 2nd worst record in the league, with the Falcons allowing QB's an average of 313.6 yards per game.
I'm backing the Raiders -3 here, it's not a lock but I've got more faith in Derek Carr and his ability to get something from this offense than I do the Falcons.
