MNF Seattle Seahawks vs. New Orleans Saints: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets
With NFL Week 7 coming to a close we get Jameis vs. Geno! Two gunslingers that I'm hoping get turned loose Monday night! Oddsmakers aren't implying much with a total set at a mere 42.5 but I see some value in the anytime touchdown department. As usual, it's expected to be rainy in Seattle come Monday night. The conditions probably won't be as bad as what is expected Sunday night in San Francisco so we have a better shot of cashing in here!
The Saints boast an elite defense meanwhile Seattle has its gaps. The Seahawks have allowed the most red-zone trips for opponents so far with some luck in the turnover department but the Saints have a great advantage coming into Monday night. I've narrowed down the best value for Monday night football anytime touchdown picks. I've done the research so you don't have to!
Let's get to the best anytime touchdown picks for Monday night! Best of luck if you tail!
Seahawks vs. Saints Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets
Tre'Quan Smith (+260)
I'll start off by saying the Seattle defense is clearly no longer the Legion of Boom for those of you that don't know. Seattle has been terrible. They've allowed the fourth-most yards and seventh-most receptions to wide receivers. Seattle's red zone defense has been great given the 50 percent success rate they've allowed. The 26 red zone trips by opponents though pace the NFL so that should regress. Smith has been designated to return off IR and he practiced all week. With Michael Thomas, Deonta Harris, and Chris Hogan out; Smith jumps to the top of the wide receiver corps. If for some reason Smith isn't activated for Monday's game we will pivot to Marquez Callaway (+260) who leads the Saints in all receiving categories.
Rashaad Penny (+300)
Penny is another guy that was designated to return from IR this week. He practiced with Seattle all week long and the reports have been nothing but positive. We have been waiting for years for the former 1st-rounder to make use of his opportunity and Monday night might be the chance. Alex Collins is missed every practice this week and if he is limited or reaggravates the injury Penny is full steam ahead! The Saints rushing defense has been great so far but since Geno has taken over Seattle has leaned more on its running backs. Let's capitalize on Penny before these odds drop!
Alvin Kamara to Score 2 TDs (+360)
The Seattle defense has allowed six scores to opposing running backs so far. The most yards to the position and Kamara is a player getting an insane usage rate once again in 2021. He has played a whopping 83 percent of snaps that's the second most for any running back, behind only Steelers rookie, Najee Harris. He has an insane 18 red zone touches and that's with a bye last week. He scored twice in his last game against Washington. Seattle leads the league in opposing rushing attempts and second in receiving yards surrendered. Kamara is set up for a BOOM week. These odds are available at DraftKings.
