NFL analyst Tom Viera is here with the best anytime touchdown scorers to bet right now, the week before the Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.

Super Bowl 2022 Player Props: Best Early Anytime TD Scorer Bets

We are nearly at our last destination of the season, Super Bowl LVI. This Super Bowl is going to give us a matchup that almost none of us expected when the season began. The Cincinnati Bengals were +15000 preseason long shots to reach the Super Bowl, having won an NFL-worst two games in 2019 and then only four games last season. They've made the quickest turnaround from worst record to the Super Bowl in NFL history. The Rams on the other hand were one of just a few teams we believed would represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Two weeks of hype until the Super Bowl is already surrounded on the quarterbacks, and for good reason. Joe Burrow has been phenomenal in the playoffs, and Matthew Stafford has provided exactly what the Rams were looking for when they traded for him. The lines are sharp but with over a week until the big game I have the best anytime touchdown scorer bets for you to make now.

I've narrowed down the best options for anytime touchdown scorers for you here for the Super Bowl. When we started this season I stated how the analysis I've done will always support our anytime touchdown picks. We're not just throwing noodles at the wall and seeing if they stick! Let's get to the best early anytime touchdown picks for the Super Bowl! Best of luck if you tail!

Even better than my picks is the OddscheckerUS website compares odds from every sportsbook for the big game. This includes odds for anytime touchdown scorers and we find where you can get the best price for your bet.

Super Bowl 2022 Early Anytime TD Bets

Drew Sample (+650)

I'm opening up here with Sample simply because of the CLV we're likely to get, if and when, the Bengals starting tight end CJ Uzomah is declared out for the game. Uzomah has had a strong season but he suffered an MCL sprain in the AFC Championship game. He was carted off the field in tears and I just don't see how he will be able to suit up just two weeks after that. After he left the game Sample ran 30 routes on 44 Joe Burrow dropbacks. Now the Rams aren't particularly a plus-matchup for the tight end position but we did just see George Kittle score in the NFC Championship game against them. He was a second-round pick in 2019 so the Bengals believe in his talent. Uzomah is listed as questionable and is priced at +230. If he is declared out Sample's odds will jump to around that same +250 range. Therefore this is a great bet to make now.

Cam Akers (+125)

If you're looking for one player to bet to score at plus money it's Cam Akers and his odds are already on the move. He's -110 at DraftKings and -120 at Fanduel respectively but at BetMGM and Bet365 you can snag him at + money. We all love a good story. How about this kid returning from a torn Achilles just last summer to come back for this Rams Super Bowl run! The Bengals allow a touchdown on 22.6% of red zone carries -- worse than even the Jaguars and the Jets! That's bad "#Analysis" Akers has had a real tough time in the playoffs so far but he certainly looks good and is showing explosiveness. He's faced the Buccaneers and 49ers defenses which both finished top five in the NFL in stopping the run. He was banged up in the NFC Championship game but he returned so I'm not worried about his availability. I will gladly take the starting running back of the side that is favored and I expect to win in the Super Bowl at plus money.

Van Jefferson (+305)

Van can be known as the forgotten man in the Rams offense right now. To see his odds over +300 right now at FoxBet is insane. To close out the season his odds were steadily under +200. He's been dealing with a knee injury but he like Akers re-entered the NFC Championship game after missing a few plays. He played over 90 percent of the snaps in the Divisional round. The Rams were eighth in EPA per drive and sixth in touchdowns this season. A league-high 79% of those touchdowns have been passes! Stafford has thrown at least two touchdowns in over 80 percent of his games. The Bengals' defense had its questionable moments during the regular season and ranked No. 24 in opposing Total QBR. He hasn't scored since Week 14 but we all saw the Rams take a shot down the field to Ben Skowronek where he dropped a touchdown against the 49ers last week. That was one of the few plays Jefferson was off of the field. He won't miss that opportunity if he gets it in the Super Bowl. It's likely we see Jefferson's odds settle in the +230 range before kick-off. Especially if Tyler Higbee is indeed ruled out.
