Buffalo Bills Team Total Over 27 (-104) - FanDuel (Bet $104 to win $100)
We're at FanDuel for this one since DraftKings is only offering 27.5 (+100). I like the push opportunity if things don't go the way I think they will. At such a little difference in cost, we might as well take it. We would feel like real fools if the Bills won 27-0 and we had 27.5. Obviously, we would have been right, but still lost money. That's the worst.
The haters are going to say that this bet is dumb since the Rams only gave up 27 or more points in a single game five times last season. That's true but they gave up at least 23 points in four other games so there is that. Obviously, 23 is not 27 but the point is teams were getting into the 20s on them regularly. It's not like they were shutting everyone down because they weren't. They gave up points just like everyone else. Hell, Davis Mills put up 22 on them. That's like a 40-burger for Josh Allen when you look at the quarterback conversion chart.
Here's the thing, the Bills dropped at least 27 points in a game 12 times last season. They know how to do it. One of the games they played was in a monsoon too so that doesn't even count. Plus they hung 26 on Miami which is pretty much 27 so they basically scored 27 points every game. I'm not the biggest narrative guy but 2022 is likely to be an "f-you tour" for the Bills after the way last season ended. I expect them to get into the 30s tonight so taking them over 27 at close to even money feels right.
