Allow me to explain how to place this one on DraftKings. You will go to the JAX/WAS game and select “Same Game Parlay”. After doing so, you will scroll over to quarters and select u14.5 under “Total Points - 1st Quarter”. After that is selected you will go to rushing props and see Gibson o44.5 as the first clickable option. This is unconventional but we have reason to be optimistic about both legs.
Antonio Gibson has a very noticeable trend about him. When Washington wins he crushes this prop and when they lose he will either barely hit it or miss it. Gibson was 7/7 on hitting this prop in wins with 636 rushing yards total. That would equate to just over 90 rushing yards a game which is double what we need from him against a poor Jacksonville team that ranked in the bottom 10 of rushing yards allowed.
Our other leg feels safe because we could see two touchdowns with extra points and still be fine. This game only has a 44-point total so I surely don’t expect 17 points in the first quarter, that would be outrageous. Last year Jacksonville averaged just 2.8 first-quarter points and Washington averaged 3.4. This u14.5 first-quarter reducer feels so safe and gets on Gibson who will be heavily involved according to his coach. I love this play and think it has great value, I would play it for even greater juice maybe up to -160.
