Philadelphia Eagles vs. Detroit Lions Prediction

We are fresh off a winner on Thursday night teaming up with theScore app, and I found another special promo for you all that is a winner on Sunday afternoon. These bets are exclusive on theScore app, so if you want to tail these, be sure to download the app now.

Josh Allen delivered for us this week, and now Jalen Hurts will do the same for us this weekend. The Philadelphia Eagles will battle it out against the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon as the two teams kick off their seasons. There is a lot of hype around this Eagles team, who are now the favorites to come out of the NFC East. This is on the heels of a rebuilding season where they surprisingly snuck into the playoffs.

The Eagles were extremely aggressive in the off-season, adding some serious talent to their roster. On offense, they landed a deal to acquire star wideout, AJ Brown. Brown also happens to be one of Jalen Hurt's best friends, so you would assume there is some serious chemistry between the two. The Eagles also landed contracts with multiple starting linebackers while adding help in their secondary at the Saftey and Cornerback positions. If Jalen Hurts locks in this season, this can be a scary team.

The Lions are looking to just be competitive this year. Being a Lions fan has been a lot of pain over the years, and this is a roster that on paper, is not all that exciting. They are expected to finish third in their division which I guess is better than being expected to be last. They are led by Jared Goff, and they have some young talent on the roster, including running back DeAndre Swift. It will be interesting to watch this team over the course of the season.

The special promo I am going with will be Jalen Hurts over 46.5 rushing yards/ Jalen Hurts anytime TD. Philly was a top rushing team in the NFL last season, and I expect them to be right up there again this year. Hurts will have plenty of designed runs in this game, but he is a threat to run any time he drops back. He is a matchup nightmare in that regard. On the goal line, the Eagles love to use Hurts in the running game, and I expect him to find his way into the end zone at some point throughout the course of this game. Let’s make it 2/2 on these special promotions!
