The Packers come into this game as kings of the north over the last decade. The Vikings will have their eyes on the prize this year to knock offs the Packers. They feel like this could be their season due to a lot of changes in Green Bay.
The Packers moved on from star-wide-out Davante Adams in the off-season. They will also likely be without their new number one Allen Lazard today. It will be interesting to see how Aaron Rodgers adapts without Adams. Rodgers is one of the best in the game, and if anyone can work with a weak WR core, it is him.
The Vikings have been so close the last few years, but they have not been able to win big games. This is an extremely talented roster that has a new head coach taking over. They have a ton of talent on the offensive side of the football, led by Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson. If their defense can step up this year, they will be a force to be reckoned with. The Vikings opened as a dog but are now at -120 on the money line.Â
I am backing the home team today, I loved them as dogs, and I love them now as slight favorites.
