It's never too early to start looking at the NFL Week 2 slate. John Hyslop is here to share two of his favorites from Week 2 of the NFL season.

Early NFL Week 2 Predictions and Picks: Don't Miss These Early Best Bets

It's never too early to start looking at NFL bets for the week. Never. Even on a Tuesday. In fact, I think it's the best time to do it since all the games are still fresh in your mind. Like I can still remember what happened. That's important because by the time Thursday rolls around, all we'll be able to think about is Thursday Night Football. Then after that, we'll be thinking about the Sunday slate but we won't be able to remember what happened last Sunday because it was so long ago. It's tough being us. Luckily, I've decided to take a look at a couple of team totals to track for the week. At some point, we may make one of these a play but for now, we should just note that they exist and put them in the "strong maybe" category. Feels like the right thing to do.

Chicago Bears Team Total Over 16.5 (-115) (Bet $115 to win $100)

This is one we have to wait on since the weather forecast calls for scattered showers. Obviously, nobody is afraid of a little rain here but it would be nice to know what we are dealing with here. I get that the Bears just covered this number last week in a monsoon but again, we have a little time to let the weather picture materialize.

Two things are in play here with one being the Bears' offense didn't look that bad against the San Francisco 49ers. Again, the game was played in less-than-ideal conditions. Obviously, we didn't see a lot of the playbook, but the vibes were good and that's really what matters here. The other thing that matters is Green Bay's defense, which got torched by the Minnesota Vikings. Sure they have Justin Jefferson but he was schemed onto linebackers all day. If the Bears can outsmart the Packers the same way, they should score more than 16.5 points Sunday.

Denver Broncos Team Total Over 27.5 (+100) (Bet $100 to win $100)

This one is about a missed opportunity. First off, besides the horrific clock management, the Broncos didn't look bad offensively. I get that they only scored 16 points but they literally fumbled the ball at the one-yard line twice in the third quarter. Should of, would of, could of but the point is, they moved the ball well. On top of that, they should have the whole revenge thing going this Sunday.

As for the Texans, I don't think anyone had them tying the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 but they did. The thing is, they gave up 517 yards in doing so. That's horrible. It's a minor miracle they didn't give up more than 20 points and that kind of stuff isn't sustainable. This week, they get a pissed off Broncos team that could easily drop 30 like it's nothing. At this point, I think we should put this in our back pocket and see what the line does throughout the week since it already ticked up.
