I'm at FanDuel for this one but I'm sure we can play it at DraftKings. I'm not sure what it would be at DraftKings since I created and played the whole thing at FanDuel. I hit a +2647 SGP on FanDuel Sunday (nbd) so I didn't even think about playing this at DraftKings. I had no choice. You always go right back to the book you won at the day before. No exceptions. My hands were tied here. I hope everyone understands.
I wish this thing was bigger but this is all I have to work with. Story of my life. The thing is, I'm completely sold on the fact that this is the Rams offense from last year and Kirk Cousins is Matthew Stafford and Justin Jefferson is Cooper Kupp. So until they prove me wrong (they will at some point), I'm just going matchup to matchup. Tonight provides a good matchup in the Philadelphia Eagles. All we need is a team that will score points against Minnesota and we're good. Philly is that team.
Everyone says Cousins sucks in primetime and to be fair he does, but some of the hate is overblown. The haters were going to talk about his last Monday night game where he only threw for 87 yards but that game was in Chicago in December. It was freezing. Plus the Bears couldn't even score so Minnesota just ran. The primetime game before that was the week before against Pittsburgh. That game was inside and Cousins only threw for 216 yards but Dalvin Cook stole all the yards in the run game (205). Not Kirk's fault. Just another bad situation.
I think Kirk is finally ready to put the primetime problems behind him because it's supposed to be nice out tonight. On top of that, the new regime seems to know how to scheme Justin Jefferson open. It should be noted that Jefferson caught touchdowns in both of those last two primetime games I was talking about (nbd). This one isn't the magic Tua-Tyreek-Waddle +2647 banger from yesterday but it's still worth getting down on. Feels right.
