New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction
The Dallas Cowboys vs. the New York Giants will clash from MetLife Stadium on Monday night for an NFC East showdown. The Cowboys enter this game repressing a record of 1-1 on the young season, and they are fresh off of an upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Cowboys could not have had a worse week one of the season.
Dallas got dominated at home against the Bucs, but that was the least of their issues. The Cowboys starting QB Dak Prescott was injured during the game, and it was announced that he would miss a significant amount of time. This injury made Cowboys fans feel as if their season was over, but Cooper Rush stepped in last week and played a great game leading Dallas to the win. Rush is obviously a step down from Prescott, but Dallas feels confident that he can be the guy until Dak returns.
The Giants are off to their best start for the first time in a long time, and they will look to start the season 3-0 tonight. The Giants have had a pair of ugly wins over the Titans and the Panthers. The Giants remain one of three undefeated teams at the moment, and they will look to keep that narrative going with a home win over the Cowboys tonight.
I am looking at a prop here as my best bet for this game, and it will be centered around the former Oklahoma Sooner Ceedee Lamb. Lamb is the clear-cut number one for Dallas, and if they want to win this game, he will have to be a big part of their game plan. Lamb was quiet in week one but was much more effective last week against the Bengals. I am shocked we are getting a line so short on Lamb in this spot. Lastly, I think Dallas could be in a negative game script for a large part of this game which will allow more opportunities for Lamb. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
