It's Monday and we need a Play of the Century to get us going this week. It's just how it is. That's the first thing I thought when I woke up this morning. Lucky for us, the NFL has football every Monday night. What that means is we get one more crack at beating the books for the week. A final act if you will. Some of us need it, some of us don't but at the end of the day, we all want it. Lucky for us, I did a deep dive on this thing this morning. I went in as I'd never before. We're talking mental simulations like you read about. Nobody has ever seen anything like it. I checked. At the end of the day, this one just might put us into the Gambling Hall of Fame. First ballot. It's good to be us.

We're at BetMGM for this one since they have the best price. DraftKings isn't that far behind at 2.5 (-125) but let's be real, -125 is not even close to -110. It's not enough to keep me off of it, but it's still a lot. At the end of the day, it's better than the 2.5 (-128) that FanDuel has so there is that. Still, if you have to play at any of those books, I'd say it's a full go. We can't be stopped at this point.

The haters are going to say Tony Pollard is trash since he didn't cover for us in Week 1. That is not correct. Tony Pollard is not trash. He was only a few yards short. Not his fault. It should be noted that eight of his nine targets this season have come from Cooper Rush. If anyone needs blame for Week 1, it is Dak Prescott who won't even be dressed tonight. Cooper Rush is clean in all of this.

The part I like most about this move is the fact that Dallas played from the ahead last game. Why does that matter? Because Tony Pollard was somehow targeted seven times that day. Common sense tells us we want Dallas behind but if we get those types of looks when they are leading, we're all set. We don't even care what the game script is in this thing. Doesn't even matter which feels good. Great even. And before the haters talk about Michael Gallup being back, let's not forget Dalton Schultz is likely out. Cooper Rush will need a security blanket (probably).

It's tough to get any sense of whether a team can cover a position or not after Week 2 but we'll do it anyway. So far the Giants have only given up eight receptions to the running back position this season. Sounds bad. But here's the thing, a running back has hit this number in both games. Hell, Dontrell Hilliard went three for 61 and two touchdowns on them. The only reason Christian McCaffrey didn't do better than 4-26 is that he ran for 102 yards on just 15 carries. He can't run wild and catch passes at the same time. I think we're set up perfectly for the Play of the Century.
