We did it, people. We made it to the end of Week 3. In one piece (for the most part). Mondays can be tricky after a long weekend of gambling (and drinking). We're back to work and we're supposed to be responsible but at the same time, we still kind of want to party. One thing I've learned over the years is a parlay on Monday night makes me feel better. It just does. Parlays are the cheat code to life pretty much. Especially when they are bangers like this one.
First, we've got Daniel Jones 225+ passing yards. I get that we're talking Daniel Jones here but at the same time, we're also talking 225+ passing yards. College kids get that in the first half all the time. It's nothing. I also know that Jones has yet to eclipse this number this season but the Giants have been playing with a lead in the first two weeks. We don't know if that will happen tonight.
Now if Jones goes for 225+, then somebody has to be on the receiving end of those passes. That's just how passing yards work. And receiving yards for that matter. Look no further than Sterling Shepard. People forget about this guy but that's because he gets hurt all the time. The thing is, he's not hurt now. We've already seen him go for 70+ once this season. There's no reason he can't do it again tonight. Especially if the Giants have to chase points.
Nobody wants a two-leg parlay and I'm no different. Three legs are more like it and for this one, CeeDee Lamb is the obvious fit. First off, the Cowboys have a pretty tight rotation in terms of guys catching passes. Only five Dallas players caught passes in Week 2. One of those guys got hurt too so there's that. I'm thinking if the Cowboys were to play from ahead, then CeeDee Lamb will probably have something to do with that. He's coming off a game where he went 7-75 and if we're being honest, that feels like his floor. This parlay should hit pretty easily.
