NFL Week 4 Parlay: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers vs. Arizona Cardinals

We're going to need something that ties tonight's game to the card on Sunday. Otherwise, we'll forget the Thursday game was even a part of Week 4 and nobody wants that. Nobody. Lucky for us, the books these days make it easy. It's not like back in the day when you legit just had a side and a total to choose from. Nowadays, not only can you do halves, quarters, and player props, you can move the damn lines on full-game sides and totals. That's ridiculous. We would have killed for that back in the day. But this parlay isn't about looking back, it's about looking ahead. Like tonight and then the ensuing Week 4 slate that will get played out this Sunday. I honestly can't wait.

NFL Parlay (+103) - DraftKings (Alt Lines) (Bet $100 to win $103)

  • Dolphins/Bengals Over 41
  • Arizona Cardinals +5

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Miami Dolphins Prediction

The thing about tonight's game is I think we will see some points. I know the Dolphins/Bills game last week was supposed to see points but go back and watch the game. Over bettors were right, things just didn't play out right. It happens so I wouldn't worry about it. Tonight, things will be different. For starters, I think the Bengals will score all over the tired Dolphins' defense. Like all over them. All the time always. Bloodbath stuff.

The Bengals are just half of the equation though because there are two teams playing (math). We've already seen what happens when Miami gets scored on. They don't just fold. Not by a mile. They just throw the ball deep downfield over and over and over again until it gets their points. Look what happened in the Baltimore game recently. Miami covered this number by themselves. At the end of the day, we don't even need these teams to be good to get home on 42. Just don't be terrible. I think we can trust them to do that.

Carolina Panthers vs. Arizona Cardinals Prediction

There comes a time in every person's life when reality introduces itself. For most, the first time is when the truth about Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, or the Tooth Fairy is revealed. It hurts. Then as you get older it's something that stings a little more like maybe your parents get divorced or you realize that you're 5'8" and the NBA is officially off the table. Or you have no shot at getting into college because your grades are awful. Reality bites sometimes but we all get through it. We're tough.

For Carolina Panther fans, the sad reality they're facing right now is the fact that Baker Mayfield just isn't good. He's not. Obviously, they should know this by now but sometimes being a fan blinds you to certain things. Things like the fact that he hasn't completed 50% of his passes or thrown for more than 170 in each of his last two games. One of those games was against the New York Giants who just let Cooper Rush throw up a 21-31/215/1 line on them. This bet has nothing to do with the Arizona Cardinals and everything to do with the fact that I don't think Baker Mayfield can cover five points against anyone. Give me the Arizona Cardinals and let's make the 4:00 pm ET slate fun again.
