I’ve flipped-flopped on who I think wins this game. Ultimately I find the Dolphins to be slightly overrated and the Bengals to be better than their record. I think the Bengals win this one and Miami will be in a passing script in all four quarters. Tyreek Hill is the guy we’re targeting here because he’s due a bounce back after last week's 2 reception game. Hill doesn’t typically have back-to-back stinkers and this is a great matchup for him to bounce back.
Tyreek Hill commented on Eli Apple this week saying how looking forward to the matchup he was with an “I owe you boy” pretty much saying that he will bounce back from his performance against him in January as a member of the Chiefs. In that game, he still accumulated 7 catches although only 3 were against Apple in coverage. Hill has hit this in 2/3 games this season and the one miss was last week when their QB situation was all funky with a likely concussed Tua. I’m hoping Tua looks more like himself and if he’s not 100% we see some shorter and safer passes to rack up the receptions.
Cincinnati has allowed 5 pass catchers to hit this against them in three games and at least one in each game. That leads me to think that this bet is a 50/50 between Hill and Waddle but with Hill's comments this week he has the added motivation to have a much better game than last week. Miami's defense should be tired after fighting with Buffalo in the heat last week and should concede points that will force Tua to pass which bodes well for our bet. This bet should be widely available and worth taking as our first Week 4 NFL play. Lets roll!
