The best game on the slate Sunday is the Buffalo Bills/Baltimore Ravens game. It's got everything. Two Super Bowl contenders led by two MVP candidate quarterbacks. What's better than that? Obviously, we need a move and if we're being honest, that move should be a same-game parlay. It just makes sense. After a lot of thought, and countless hours of mental simulations, this is what I came up with.
Here's the thing, both of these teams are decent offensively. They just are. Look at the top five teams in yards per play in the NFL so far this season and you'll see both Baltimore and Buffalo in that group. The Ravens are actually the best team in the NFL in that metric. Sure Buffalo's defense is nice but they did just get beat by the Miami Dolphins last week. My point is, the 3.5 standard line for this game feels like way too much with the way Lamar Jackson is playing. For that reason, 6.5 feels bulletproof.
I know we all hate unders but sometimes that's just the move. I'd actually rather lose than take and under but we can make an exception this time. Why? Because of the weather. There's a 70+% chance of rain in Baltimore on Sunday during this game. Winds are expected to be in the low teens as well. This should translate into a slower, plodding game. Without the weather, maybe these teams get to 59 points but in a rainstorm, it just feels like it won't happen. Feels right.
