The Packers struggled once more at home on Sunday in a 27-24 overtime victory against the outmatched New England Patriots after barely winning at Tampa Bay on the road in Week 3.

RB Aaron Jones played well, gaining 110 yards on the ground on 16 carries. Aaron Rodgers demonstrated a relationship with TE Robert Tonyan (2 catches, 22 yards, 1 TD), finally, and I would expect more targets for the TE.  

The Giants are competing for the NFC East crown early in the season even with WR Kadarius Toney missing time, WR Kenny Golladay doing next to nothing, and Sterling Shepard (ACL injury) out for the year. Now, they’re also dealing with an injured Jones, who left last week’s game with an ankle injury.

Let’s take a closer look at a few other players that could have an impact.

Romeo Doubs - Receiving Yards Over 44.5 (-115)

In addition to finding some chemistry with his TE last week, Rodgers demonstrated his growing confidence in Romeo Doubs, a rookie WR, who finished the game with quite the stat line (5 catches, 47 yards, 1 TD). This has become crucial for the Packers' pass game, as more and more is exposed without All-Pro WR Davante Adams, who is currently playing for Las Vegas.

Now facing a suspect Giants secondary on the corners, I like for Doubs to have another strong performance and eclipse this number.

Aaron Jones - Rushing Yards Over 58.5 (-125)

Jones has carried the ball 48 times for 327 yards, a mind-blowing 6.8 yards per carry. A quarter of his rushes this season would have advanced the chains on a standard 1st-and-10 because he has 12 carries of 10 yards or more; only  Nick Chubb has more. Additionally, the only other players with more rushes of 15 yards or more than Jones are Chubb (eight) and Saquon Barkley (seven).

Among eligible running backs, Jones only falls short of De'Andre Swift (8.6) in terms of yards per rush. When it comes to stopping Jones from running, the opposition must decide whether to risk missing out on a huge play from Rodgers and the passing game or to keep playing loose in the box and risk being repeatedly gashed by one of the NFL's top big-play backs. I don’t for that to change this week.

Saquon Barkley - Rushing Yards Over 75.5 (-125)

A sprained ankle forced quarterback Daniel Jones to leave Sunday's 20-12 victory over the visiting Chicago Bears in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, after backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor went down with a concussion, Jones re-entered the game but only handled handoffs and lined up at wideout as Barkley took snaps in a wildcat configuration.

Already in 2019 form, look for even more looks for Barkley as he blows through this total.
