Adam Trautman Over 1.5 Receptions (+140) - DraftKings (Bet $100 to win $140)
We're at DraftKings for this one because they've got +140 on this guy. BetMGM isn't too far behind though as they have over 1.5 for +135. Obviously, both are good here but DraftKings has the edge. When I wrote this, FanDuel still didn't have any props for this game so there is that. Make sure you check there if that's a book you use because they could have an even better price than +140. At the end of the day, I'm good with the +140 though.
This isn't some genius move people. This is just an old-fashioned, slapping of the books. They put out a low bar to get over with a ton of juice attached. That's it. The thing is, it feels like a situation where a move is warranted. For starters, the Saints' receivers are banged up. Michael Thomas isn't even playing. Jarvis Landry is questionable but really didn't practice this week. On top of that, Andy Dalton is starting at quarterback. All of this likely means elevated snaps, routes, and targets for our boy Trautman. Just like last week when he went 3-37 on the Minnesota Vikings.
The opponent is decent for this game too since no team in the NFL has given up more receiving yards this season to the tight end position than the Seattle Seahawks. We're talking 359 yards in just four games. Obviously, we need receptions here but the fact that teams have had success targeting the tight end bodes well. Plus we may even get one of those tight-end screens like last week. Easy pitch and catch with those. I think this could be the greatest bet of all time.
