Two teams trending in opposite directions will square off Sunday in Arizona, as the still-unbeaten Eagles come to take on an inconsistent Cardinals team. For the home team, their season might have been saved last week by dismantling the Panthers on the road, as the Cardinals improved to 2-2 on the season in their 26-16 win.
Their week one win at Detroit has looked like their toughest test thus far, as they won that game and have gone on to win three straight (3-0 ATS) since. At the quarterback position, Jalen Hurts is slowly becoming the most popular man in Philadelphia sports the process.
Let’s take a look at three players I expect to find success with this weekend.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer - Jalen Hurts (-105) (Bet $105 to win $100)
Hurts still managed to reach the end zone on the ground for the fourth time this year last week, despite the rain and three rushing touchdowns from his backs. Hurts only attempted 25 passes, a season-low, yet he averaged 8.2 yards per attempt despite the weather.
The Eagles have been so strong to start the year that Hurts has actually been capped in what he's fully capable of. The Eagles have been so strong that he has yet to score a touchdown either passing or rushing in the second half while only completing 38 passes overall through four games. In a game I like a lot of points for, look for Hurts to get loose at some point before this one is over.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer - James Conner (+100) (Bet $100 to win $100)
Conner has found pay dirt since week one, despite averaging over 10 attempts a game in addition to plenty of chances out of the backfield. With Arizona truly ahead for the first time last week, Conner was able to mount a season-high 18 touches, but he only tallied 77 yards on the day, even still.
As they look to get Conner back to his 2021 production where he scored 15 touchdowns, I think we see more of an emphasis on the former Pitt back. I like for his dual-threat abilities to be the catalyst for Kliff Kingsbury to start opening up this offense more, and that should start this week against an Eagles defense they’ll need all the help they can dissecting.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer - AJ Brown (+105) (Bet $100 to win $105)
With just one touchdown on the season, AJ Brown is a ticking time bomb of points waiting to happen. Unfortunately for those that own him in fantasy, the Eagles have built leads early in most of their games, leading to a rushing-heavy offense.
The Cardinals are sixth in points allowed per game (12.6) to opponent WR1, despite how poor their pass defense has been. Antonio Hamilton might return this weekend to assist in rearranging some components in the cornerback room. In a game that could very well turn into a shootout, I like for Brown to find pay dirt.
