Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Prediction
The Cincinnati Bengals started returning to form after playing in the Super Bowl last year. The Bengals lost their first two games but have since won back-to-back games. Now they'll be looking to get back to over .500 with a win against Baltimore.
The Bengals are led by quarterback Joe Burrow, who has thrown for nearly 1100 yards through four games. However, Joe Mixon only has one touchdown rushing the football this year. Even Ja'Marr Chase has struggled to put up big numbers to start the year. It's been Tee Higgins leading the way, with 315 yards on 20 catches to go along with two touchdowns.
Burrow has been hit a whole lot this season. He's also been sacked a bunch. But in those two wins, the offensive line has protected Burrow at a much higher rate, which has helped the team in a big way.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have struggled defensively, allowing 437.8 yards per game. The defense wasn't even trusted by the coaching staff last week when the Ravens could've taken the lead in the red zone against the Bills. The Bengals should be able to earn plenty of yards against the Ravens defensively. Baltimore will have to make major adjustments with the way they've been playing recently.
On offense, the Ravens are fine. Lamar Jackson has quarterbacked the Ravens to about 30 points per game. Jackson has scored 13 touchdowns in just four weeks with 11 of those touchdowns being passing touchdowns. Jackson is never an easy quarterback to prepare for. But the Bengals have an above-average defense to start the year. There's no area where you can really pinpoint something bad about when it comes to that defense. But still, Lamar Jackson will find his way through the Bengals' defense like he's done against every defense. So I'm expecting points. Here are some player props for Sunday night's s matchup between the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Prop Picks
Joe Burrow Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-155) (Bet $155 to win $100)
As I mentioned above, Joe Burrow is getting better protection and the offense is now becoming more unpredictable. Baltimore has allowed over 300 yards passing per game. If Burrow is able to throw the ball for 300 yards, he's going to turn two completions into touchdowns. The Bengals know that they've got to get Ja'Marr Chase more involved offensively. Tee Higgins is also a very solid target around the red zone. I wouldn't be surprised if both of those wideouts scored a touchdown against the Baltimore secondary. That defense is collapsing.

Lamar Jackson Over 56.5 Rushing Yards (-120) (Bet $120 to win $100)
Jackson has rushed for at least 73 yards in each of his last three games. In a tight, divisional game, Jackson will be pressured by the Cincinnati defensive line. He'll look to create plays with his feet, knowing how well the Bengals have played in the secondary this season.
As I said above, the Bengals have looked good defensively. But they've also played some really poor offenses to begin the year. So I don't want to read too much into it. Jackson will do his thing like he's done over the first month of the year.

Ja'Marr Chase Over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-125) (Bet $125 to win $100)
Chase has seen at least six targets in every game this season. He's averaging over 10 per game on the year. Burrow and Chase haven't connected as much as they would've liked to begin the year, but Chase did earn 81 yards on four catches last week against Miami. So if Chase gets just four catches, there's a good chance he'll still get over 70.5 receiving yards. If I'm suggesting he'll have 10 targets, there's a good chance he's catching more than just four balls.
