Every now and then the books make a mistake. They're only human so it's understandable. Nobody is perfect. But some mistakes are bigger than others. The one I found isn't an "accidentally threw recycling in the trash" type of mistake. I'd categorize this one as more of a "knocking up a rando" type deal. Something that will stick around for quite a while. Sure it's a mistake that isn't the end of the world and may even make the books better people, but at the moment things are not looking great. Vibes are down bad. Changes will have to be made. Hell, someone could even be fired over this. It's a dirty game we all play but at least we the bettors are on the right side of this one. I'd hate to be the books this Sunday.

Washington Commanders Team Total Over 20.5 (-108) (Bet $108 to win $100)
*Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing*
We're at FanDuel here because they have a slightly better price than DraftKings on this thing. Granted DraftKings is showing 20.5 (-110) so it's not that much better but it is better. Nobody can dispute that. I'm not sure where the others will fall when they post their numbers on this market but for the time being, FanDuel is king here. They should be proud of that.
Washington Commanders vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction
Let me clear something up and say that I understand how whoever made this mistake, made this mistake. They saw the Commanders' roster and Carson Wentz, and thought, "these guys suck". They're not wrong, but life isn't that black and white. It just isn't. Sometimes bad teams do well. Look at the Giants, they're 3-1. You've got to get deep in this game and that's what we're doing here.
For starters, what we have to do to break this game down is throw out the last two Commanders games. They don't count. Those games were against actual NFL teams. It was pretty much the same thing as watching a 5'3", 120-pound kid getting into a fistfight with Nate Diaz. You wouldn't dock the kid points for losing that fight. He never had a chance. I'm just saying, playing fields need to be level and if they are, maybe Washington can compete.
This Sunday, the playing fields have been leveled because the Commanders are welcoming the Tennessee Titans to Washington DC. So far this season, the Titans are allowing opponents to go for 6.3 yards per play. To put that in perspective, the Cowboys and Eagles are third and fourth in the NFL in that metric. The Titans are 30th. They allowed the Indianapolis Colts to score 17 points last week which is like 30 if you convert those to an actual NFL offense. I don't want to get too excited for this one, but this could be the greatest bet I've ever seen in my life. Huge mistake by the books.
