New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins Prediction
The Jets had a huge come-from-behind win last weekend over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they are feeling good coming into this game against the Dolphins. The Jets had a scare in the pre-season when Zach Wilson went down in week one of the pre-season. Wilson missed the first three games of the year, but New York was able to weather the storm and start out 1-2. Wilson is 1-0 this year and will look to improve on that this afternoon.
Miami got off to the perfect start when they kicked off a 3-0 start to the season. That included a win over the Buffalo Bills. Everything was going great until a week four loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The bigger loss in that game was the Dolphins' starting QB, Tua Tagovailoa.
The Tua injury was a scary one, and fans were just happy that huge was ok after what looked like a possible career-threatening injury; the injury of Tua forced the hand of backup Qb Teddy Bridgewater. Teddy has a lot of experience on his NFL resume and is one of the better backups in the game. He will have to be sharp today.
I will be backing the New York Jets on the spread tonight. I understand it is not always fun to bet on the Jets, but I am confident in this line tonight. New York has looked solid so far this season, and now they get back their guy in Zach Wilson.

Wilson looked really impressive last weekend against a good defense in Pittsburgh, and the late-game comeback should give him a ton of confidence going into today. Miami simply should not be laying a field goal plus on the road with a backup QB, in my opinion. I think this Jets defense can get after Teddy and company today and get us a cover!
