Jock MKT Pick of the Day: Don’t Sleep on This Jock MKT Investment From the Raiders
Do you know what I learned today? I learned that we can play Monday Night Football slates on Jock MKT. I had no idea. I thought that we could only play full slates. None of the single-game stuff. But when I was poking my head in today just seeing what's what, I noticed they have tournaments that are strictly about tonight. You know what that means. We've got to get into the market. You can't win if you don't play. That's a scientific fact. All we need to do now is find a guy the market is down on and see how many shares we can get. Feels pretty easy if you ask me.
Jock MKT Pick of the Day - Monday (10/10/22)
Mack Hollins (WR) - Las Vegas Raiders
We're doing a tournament tonight and it could be the best tournament ever played. Do you know what else is awesome? They even have one for beginners only. Let's say you have zero idea what you're doing in the Jock MKT. It's fine. You get to play with other people that have no idea what they're doing. Yet. That's just gold. Learning with others that are just learning seems like a great idea. All you have to do is go into the lobby and look for the trophy icon and the word beginner. You have to admit, that's pretty easy.
The IPO phase of this bad boy starts at 6:15 pm ET tonight. We've got two hours to bid on all of our guys. Everyone has the same amount to start ($250). What we need to do is take that cash and bid on players we want. If we're the highest bidder on a per-share basis, we get that many shares of our guy. It's just like the stock market only better because it centers around sports. The guy I'm definitely bidding on tonight is Mack Hollins of the Las Vegas Raiders. I'll tell you why.

For starters, nobody is going to want Mack. The Raiders have Davante Adams, Darren Waller, and Hunter Renfrow running around out there. It's easy to forget about Mack. Especially when all anyone can talk about is how Renfrow is back from a concussion. I've already heard how he will steal all of Mack's targets but in the first two weeks, that really wasn't the case. They only played two games together and in one of them, Mack was targeted eight times. I think there's enough volume to go around. Especially in a game like tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs where the Raiders will need all the points they can get.
So far this season, the Chiefs are leading the NFL in scoring on a per-game basis. My point is the Raiders will need to throw the ball to keep up. That's how this world works. On top of that, the Chiefs are actually good against the run so there's that too. While everyone is going to try to scoop up Adams, Waller, and Renfrow (and for good reason), I think Mack will go unnoticed. We'll be able to get a ton of shares on the cheap. At that point, all we'll need is the game to be wide open and we'll be in a good spot to cash those shares in at the end. Feels right.

Jock MKT breaks down play into phases, the initial IPO phase and Live Trading.
During the initial IPO stage, you are looking to put your a big in on your desired player/racer's shares, and this price will be determined by the highest pre-event bid.
A good example of this would be buying low on a golfer at the start of the week, as he is considered a longshot, but you believe he can challenge or outperform his share price. If there is a lot of chatter about said golfer online, then his stock will naturally rise, so the price will be dependent on expectations from the off.
When it comes to Live Trading, you are instead buying or selling the player/racer in real-time. Again using Golf as an example, you may have bought a player at low shares at the start of the week, and said golfer now finds themselves in the mix at the top of the leaderboard. This might be where you would look to sell your shares, as you are worried they might not close, or the price is simply at a number you are comfortable getting out of. This behaves in the same way the stock market would.
The final shares are determined by the total fantasy points and rankings at the end of the game/event.
If your current shares are now worth more than what you paid, you are in the money, and you end the week in positive equity on that selection. If the shares are worth less, then you lose on that selection, and the difference is forfeited. It really is as simple as that.
So why not give Jock MKT a go today, and find out how buying and selling your favorite athletes rewards you in the long run?
