Derek Carr 300+ Passing Yards (+168) (Bet $100 to win $168)
*Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing*
We're at FanDuel for this one because of the ladder thing. I know DraftKings has entered the market with their "alt yards" but they're only showing 299.5+ (+150). While that's not bad, it's definitely not +168. That's just how numbers work. I do admire the effort of DraftKings though. That's big.
I'm not going to go on and on about this one. Two things matter here. Run defense and game script. Both of those things should go our way tonight. First off, Carr likely won't be able to just hand the ball to Josh Jacobs and watch him run wild. The Chiefs are second in the NFL in opponents' yards per carry. That's big. Last game against Denver, Carr didn't even break 200 passing yards because Jacobs went for 144. I hate when that happens.
In terms of game script, the Chiefs should score all over the Raiders. Las Vegas has given up 25 points per game this season and they haven't even played great offenses. We're talking Tennessee and Denver here. Both of those teams hung 23+ on Las Vegas. The Chiefs are night and day better than those teams. What that means for us is the Raiders could be chasing points all night which means Carr is throwing the ball. We've already seen Tom Brady and Justin Herbert go for 300+ against Kansas City. Why can't Carr do it?
