NFL Week 6 Predictions: Don't Miss Out on These First-Look Teaser Picks for Week 6

Week 5 in the NFL was fun. It was. We saw a lot and learned a ton. Sure the Thursday night game was awful but the Monday night game was awesome. That has to count for something. In the NFL's defense, how were they supposed to know the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts were going to do what they did on Thursday? At the time the schedule was made, that was probably viewed as a sweet game. Still, that's all behind us now and we need to shift our focus to the Week 6 slate. We've got bye weeks to think about now and everything. We're in the shit at this point. Lucky for us, I've gone through the entire slate and found a few spots worth looking into. We're going to get a ton of news between now and kickoff. We need to be ready people. Knowing which lines we are already looking to move helps. Here's what I have so far.

Miami Dolphins

Right now we're looking at the Dolphins +3 at home so we can go all the way up to +9 from here. For starters, the score from last week's game with the New York Jets looked way worse than it really was. That game was 19-17 going into the fourth quarter and they played with a quarterback that was never supposed to play this season. This week I bet Teddy Bridgewater plays and if that's the case, Miami should be fine. Everyone is saying he only came out because of the wobbling and not because he actually has a concussion. That's good for his overall health and the Miami Dolphins as a football team.

As for the Minnesota Vikings, I don't really buy them. Sure they can win this game but can they do it by nine points? They almost lost to the Chicago Bears last week, the Andy Dalton New Orleans Saints the week before, and the Detroit Lions the week before that. If they get up, can they stay up? Keep in mind that they have given up almost 250 passing yards per game up until now and that's with games against Justin Fields and Andy Dalton. This seems like a good spot to back the Dolphins at +9.

New England Patriots

Here's another +3 that we can run all the way up to +9 with a similar set of circumstances. We don't know if Mac Jones will be starting but I really don't think it matters if it's him, Brian Hoyer, or Bailey Zappe. This isn't about the quarterback position. The Patriots want to run the ball and play good defense. That should lend itself to games where they're getting two scores with a low total such as this one at 42.5. Even if Damien Harris is out after suffering a hamstring injury last week, Rhamondre Stevenson looked the part of an every down back in his absence. The guy went off against a team with a weak run defense in Detroit last week.

This week Stevenson and the Patriots will see another super weak run defense when they visit the Cleveland Browns. These guys are giving up 5.3 runs per carry. Only two teams in the entire NFL are worse in that metric. Austin Ekeler just hung 173 yards on them last week. The week before Tyler Allgeier (who?) went for 84 rushing yards on them. I'm not trying to be rude to Cleveland but if they can't do better than that this week there's no chance they are covering nine points. Especially to the Patriots.
