I know everybody is saying that this game tonight is going to suck. But here's something not many have considered. Are you ready? What if the game doesn't suck? What if we have a little, baby shootout? Like not a nuclear, bazooka shootout, but like a pellet gun type. Where do both teams get into the low 20s? That could happen and that's why we should be using alt lines like this one from FanDuel.
The way I see it, if this game goes over 38, it'll go over 40.5. We're talking about a few points here. Just going over the numbers, all it would take is a quick score to get something going and we're talking about a Washington team that gives up 12.2 yards per completion. That's the 30th in the NFL. That's a big reason why there are only five teams in the NFL that give up more points per game. They've given up 21 points to the Tennessee Titans and 25 points to the Cooper Rush Dallas Cowboys in the last two weeks.
Tonight they get a team that can't really score in the Chicago Bears. I get that but like I said earlier, one big play can make a huge difference. Especially in a game with an ultra-low total like this one. On top of that, the Bears have given up 20+ points in each of the last four weeks. We're not even talking about giving it up to good teams either. The Houston Texans dropped 20 on them. I'm just saying that a 23-20 type game is not out of the realm of possibilities and it shouldn't be +132.
