The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Tampa Bay Buccanneers this Sunday. Can George Pickens produce? John Hyslop answers.
ANALYSIS

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction, Player Prop Pick: Can George Pickens Produce?

It's that time of the week people. Moonshot time. A time to grab our spacesuits and start reaching for some sky. We've got an entire NFL slate in front of us full of games that offer endless possibilities. I don't know about you but I'm pumped. I'm thinking moonshots all over the place. The beauty of the moonshot is we don't have to be right about a lot of them. Just nail a few here and there and we're home. I've been over and over this board. Scouring the Internet for information. Literally jumping into the brains of the actual players themselves just trying to find an edge. You'd be amazed at what I saw. Some of it was disturbing but it was all worth it because I found something we all dream about. A plus money banger that has no chance of losing (probability at time of writing). I can't believe we're allowed to bet on this.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Player Prop Pick

George Pickens 60+ Receiving Yards (+182) (Bet $100 to win $182)

*Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing*

We're going to FanDuel for this one since they have ladders. If you can't go there, then BetMGM is the spot because they have the Pickens over at 46.5 (-110). If you're a DraftKings person, they're hanging 46.5 (-120). Us FanDuel patrons will be feasting on ladders though. Currently, we're looking at 50+ (+114), 60+ (+182), 70+ (+280), 80+ (+410), 90+ (+630) and 100+ (+880). It's all in play people.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Player Prop Prediction

Let me tell you a little bit about George Pickens. He is the next big dog wide receiver. If you don't believe me, just go back and watch him throw Dane Jackson on the ground last week. He used to do it in college all the time and I can't get enough. Anytime a wide receiver throws a defensive back on the ground in an effort to get open, I'm in. That's the kind of guy I want to bet on.

Over the first few weeks of the season, Pickens was kind of quiet. Here's the thing. He had Mitch Trubisky throwing the ball at him. You'd be quiet too. There are just not a lot of guys who can be successful with Mitch as their quarterback. Look it up. Now Pickens has Kenny Pickett throwing him balls and it's going well. Last week Pickens caught six balls for 83 yards. The week before he went 6-102 with Pickett playing the second half. He didn't get all 102 yards with Pickett, but he did get most of it with the rookie.

Now I know what the haters are thinking. The Steelers are missing a million people Sunday and they're going to get their asses kicked. That is true. I'm not denying that. But here's the twist the haters are going to hate. We want that to happen. The Steelers are trying to develop a rookie quarterback as well as a first-year wideout. If and when the game turns into a beatdown, we'll see Pickett spraying the field with passes. The guy just went for 327 against the Buffalo Bills last week in this same type of game script. The Bills are even better than Tampa Bay in the opponent passing yards per game aspect. I think we see more of the same this week.
