The New York Jets have won three straight games and four of their last five after a bad loss in Week 1. Now they'll look for their fourth win in a row, on the road, against a struggling Denver Broncos team that's just 2-4 on the season.
It was reported that Russell Wilson sustained a hamstring injury in Denver's loss last week against the Chargers. However, Wilson has been practicing in preparation for Sunday's game. He'll likely play. The Broncos have lost two straight games in overtime and three consecutive games. They gave Russell Wilson the bag, and it's undoubtedly not paying dividends. The Broncos are only scoring 15.2 points per game. Touchdowns might be limited, but there will still be some.
Below we'll review some of the best anytime touchdown options in this game between the Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets.
Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets Best Anytime TD Picks
Breece Hall Anytime Touchdown (+140)
Breece Hall is currently running for the Offensive Rookie of the Year. He's rushed 76 times for 391 yards with three touchdowns, averaging 5.1 yards per carry. He's also caught 19 receptions in six games for 216 yards and another touchdown. So he's converted four touchdowns in six games this season.
Every week he's becoming more and more a part of the offense, and he hasn't disappointed. He's logged at least 17 carries in the last three games. In each of those three games, the Jets have won. Hall should find the endzone.
Melvin Gordon Anytime Touchdown (+162)
The Denver running back room is impossible to figure out. Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon were expected to split carries to start the season. Williams went down with an injury, and then Gordon took over. Eventually, Mike Boone was given an opportunity, and the Broncos picked up Latavius Murray. In Murray's first game, he got 15 carries, and Denver barely gave the ball to Gordon. However, Nathanial Hacket has said that Gordon will be the starting running back this week. So I'll roll with him to score a touchdown if he's going to get the volume.
Zach Wilson Anytime Touchdown (+650)
The Broncos have looked strong in the secondary. They've also had an excellent pass rush. Zach Wilson's job will be to escape the pressure and make plays down the field. Around the red zone, Wilson would rather not make a mistake. That could mean rushing the football into the endzone while escaping the pass rush. He has one rushing touchdown through three games and could find the end zone again in this one.
