In Week 8, the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5) and Denver Broncos (2-5) face off at 9:30 a.m. ET (ESPN+) at Wembley Stadium in London.
Denver lost their fourth game in a row on Sunday, falling to the visiting New York Jets 16-9. Denver managed just nine points for the second time in its previous three games, as their new offense has failed to get a spark. Due to QB Russell Wilson's hamstring injury, Brett Rypien had to start the game, though Wilson is expected back for this one. In his first start since 2020, Rypien completed 24-of-46 passes for 225 yards and one interception.
In Week 7, Jacksonville lost to the visiting New York Giants 23-17 after falling apart in the fourth quarter after leading 17-13 going into the final frame. The loss was their fourth in a row and 19th straight vs. the NFC.
Jaguars WR Christian Kirk had a strong week with 96 yards, which was his highest total since the first week of the season. Running back J James Robinson didn't register a carry in Week 7 despite playing RB2 to Travis Etienne Jr. who gained 114 yards on 14 carries, including his first career touchdown.

With Rypien at the helm, Jerry Jeudy had his best performance since the first week with 96 yards on seven receptions. With the big game, Jeudy increased his yards per catch to 16.1 on the season, in addition to now averaging over three receptions per game.
Whether it be Wilson or Rypien back in the QB position in this one, I like for Jeudy to continue to get looks and for him to eclipse this number in London against a porous Jaguars’ secondary.

Despite the loss last week, Trevor Lawrence completed 22 of his 43 passes for 310 yards and zero touchdowns but did run for one while gaining three yards on four carries. Finally, Lawrence is starting to shake off a rookie season in which he threw 17 interceptions, and has now thrown just four through seven games this season.
Lawrence should also benefit from a Broncos injury report that is littered with names throughout its secondary. I like a big game here from Lawrence as he continues to get Kirk and Etienne Jr. involved in the offense.

Former Clemson teammate of Lawrence Etienen Jr. finally got cooking last week, picking up 100+ yards on the ground in addition to his first touchdown. Look for more looks to him this week, as the Jaguars look to maintain footing in their division.
