The Cardinals defeated the New Orleans Saints 42-34 on Thursday Night Football last week to end an 8-game home losing streak. The game was largely turned following the interception of Saints quarterback Andy Dalton three times in the first half alone, returning two of them for touchdowns.

The Vikings are coming off of their bye week and currently lead the NFC North by a margin of 2.5 games. The last time we saw them on the field, the Vikings defeated the Miami Dolphins 24-16 on the road as Kirk Cousins completed two touchdown passes and no interceptions.

With the season potentially on the line for the Cardinals, let’s take a closer look at who might contribute from both sides with my NFL picks and predictions for this Sunday's Vikings vs. Cardinals game.

After his first playing time this season following a PED suspension to start the year, Hopkins immediately impacted this team, picking up 103 yards in his first game back. With 10 receptions on the day, D-Hop is already averaging over 10 yards per catch, with his breakaway speed seemingly having not missed a beat. 

With another full week of practice, look for Hopkins to be even more integrated into the offense and get plenty of red zone looks in this one. Add in the fact the Vikings are allowing 272 yards through the air per game, and it should be a field day for Hopkins.

The former Arizona State product has taken advantage of James Conner being out of the lineup, picking up two touchdowns over the past three weeks, in addition to catching 3+ passes in each of those games. A more dual-threat option than many thought to start his career, Benjamin has shown his ability to catch balls in the falt and I expect him to get more targets in that capacity.

With Conner likely out again in this one with a rib injury, look for Benjamin to continue to get RB1 reps, which should translate to plenty of touchdown opportunities.

The last time we saw this Vikings team on the field two weeks ago, Jefferson balled out with 107 yards on just six receptions and eight targets. Coming into his week, Jefferson is eclipsing over 100 yards per game to this point, despite having just two touchdowns on the year.

Averaging 14.2 yards per catch, amongst the best in the league, I expect the touchdowns to begin to follow, beginning here vs. the Cardinals. Allowing 258.6 yards per game through the air already, look for the Cardinals' secondary to be exposed, led by Jefferson.
