Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction
The Tennessee Titans and the Houston Texans will battle things out from the Lone Star state. The Titans are currently in first place in the AFC South and playing their best football at the moment. The Titans are in a great spot for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that they play in one of the weakest divisions in football. The second is that they have played well against their division so far and hold a pair of wins over the Colts.
Houston has had a rough go of things, as expected. The Texans were slated to be one of the worst teams in football, and they have lived up to that narrative to this point. This team is in the rebuilding process since they traded Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins. They are now led by gunslinger Davis Mills. Mills has been up and down in his short NFL career but has sometimes shown potential. One positive for Houston so far has been young running back Dameon Pierce. Pierce has been outstanding for the Texans and looks like a guy that they can build their offense around.
I am backing the Texans today. I know that is a statement that people do not often want to hear, but this is a behest spot for Houston. Tennessee is the better team, but they are starting a rookie QB on the road today. This is a tough spot for Malik Willis, and I trust the Texans defense will be able to limit the Titans production today. I will trust the line and the Texans in this one.
