John Hyslop's Premium NFL Primetime Teaser

  • Browns +10.5
  • Bengals/ Browns Over 38
  • KC Chiefs -4

The NFL 7-Point Teaser has to be the most fun bet in the world as far as NFL bets go. What other way can we move the lines a full touchdown and extra point while still getting plus money? It's just fun people. It really is. On top of that, the lines we're moving are literally the sharpest in the world. The books are good at the NFL. Not sure if you were aware, but they are. In many cases, we could tease the line either way and still win. That's what I like to call "beautiful."

What we're doing today is teasing tonight's game with next Sunday night's game. How fun is that? You can do that when the books will let you take a home dog at 10.5, which is where we are getting the Cleveland Browns tonight. Are the Browns good? No. God, no, but are they 10.5 points worse than the Cincinnati Bengals? I doubt it. The Browns have only not covered this number once this season, and that was when they blew it late in the game to the New England Patriots. Given the fact that Ja'Marr Chase is out tonight for the Bengals, maybe we see them lean more on Joe Mixon. The Browns can't stop the run, but it will take Cincinnati longer to score.

Here's the thing about the Browns offense. I'm not sold on the idea that the Bengals can stop it. Cleveland can run the ball. They've hung at least 20 in three of their four games in October. Jacoby Brissett isn't the best quarterback in the NFL, but he's serviceable. If he can make enough plays tonight, maybe even use Amari Cooper, I think the Browns could score at least 20 points again. I think we're looking at a 23-20 type game, which would cover both legs of the teaser for us.

Finally, by the time the Kansas City Chiefs/Tennessee Titans game comes on next Sunday night, we'll forget we even have this bet going. I love when that happens. The fun part is the haters are going to talk about the Titans as if they are good. Like beating the Colts (twice), Commanders, Raiders, and Texans over the last five weeks mean something. This is the same Titans team that got smoked by the Buffalo Bills 41-7 back in September. I doubt Tennessee will be able to run on KC's defense which ranks 7th in the NFL in opponent yards per carry. I have no idea how they will stop the Chiefs' offense if they can't. This should be a beatdown.
