A little bit of juice but this is such a good number. Fournette has only hit this in four out of eight games but this is a favorable matchup for him in the passing game. Fournette has been in three games decided by one possession this year and hits in three out of three games. This game projects similarly against a Rams team who are also better on paper than their record.
If Tampa goes up or down by too much we could see White in the backfield so this feels like a rare week where Fournette should be utilized heavily in a close game. The Rams rank in the middle of the league in rushing yards allowed to RBs but I would expect some positive regression and they finish the year top 10. I don’t see Tampa running all over them and they will only win if Brady can figure it out this week. Fournette has a game this year with 10 receptions so this bet has the upside to hit sweat-free.
Last year against the Rams we saw the Bucs complete nine completions to Fournette in the playoff game and in the regular season we saw Fournette/Bernard combine for 12 receptions out of the backfield. We just need four tomorrow, one per quarter. This bet is juiced but for good reason and with a game that projects close I like for Brady to check the ball down and pile up completions. Brady’s pass attempts projection is 40, we just need 10% of the target share for this one. Let's roll!
