Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction

Minnesota has shocked the league as they bring in a record of 8-1. Minnesota essentially has the NFC North locked up as they have a commanding lead, and they are currently tied with the Eagles for the best record in the NFC. Philadelphia does have the tiebreaker if it comes down to that. Kirk Cousins has really stepped up for Minnesota this season. He has some great weapons in Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson, but his play has been a huge difference. There are a lot of people out there that despite the 8-1 record, do not believe in Minnesota.

I am not sure why people think that outside of the Eagles game, they have answered every call and have some impressive wins on their resume, including one last week over the Buffalo Bills. The Vikings will have another chance today to silence the critics. Dallas, on the other hand, is coming off a tough loss in Green Bay. They held a fourteen-point lead late, but they could not get things done down the stretch.

The Cowboys come into play with a record of 6-3. The Cowboys have one of the best defenses in the league, led by linebacker Micah Parsons who likely will be the defensive player of the year. Dak Prescott has been back for a month now and should be in a good rhythm for the game today. Despite the 8-1 record, Minnesota enters as a dog today.

I am trusting the line here, and as much as it pains me to say this, I will be backing the Dallas Cowboys today. The Vikings are 8-1 and they just beat the best team in the NFL, yet they are underdogs on their home field today? The line is fishy, and it looks too easy to back the Vikings.

I am going to trust that the Cowboy's front can get to Cousins and force some turnovers today. This is a Vikings team that is due to regress at some point, and based on the line, I think they regress in this spot today. I hope I do not have to see this many more times in my life but go Cowboys.
